Fugazi

Fugazi is an American post-hardcore band formed in Washington, D.C., in 1986. The band consists of guitarists and vocalists Ian MacKaye and Guy Picciotto, bassist Joe Lally, and drummer Brendan Canty. Known for their fiercely independent approach, Fugazi has released seven albums and toured extensively, influencing the post-hardcore and alternative rock scenes. Since their indefinite hiatus beginning in 2003, the band has made around 900 live shows available for download on a pay-what-you-can basis, maintaining a strong legacy through their live series archive.
