Get Scared is an American post-hardcore band from Layton, Utah, formed in 2008. After their formation they released their first EP Cheap Tricks and Theatrics in 2009. A self-titled EP followed several months later in 2010. The band's debut studio album, Best Kind of Mess, was released in July 2011. They perform genres including post-hardcore, emo, alternative rock, and metalcore. The band disbanded in 2019 but has officially reunited in 2025 and is writing new music.
