The Promise Ring was an American rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, recognized as part of the second wave of emo. They released four studio albums during their initial run: 30° Everywhere, Nothing Feels Good, Very Emergency, and Wood/Water. The band was formed in 1995 and was known for their melodic emo sound and influential presence in the indie rock scene.
