The Daysleepers is a rock band formed in November 2004 in Buffalo, New York, by Jeff Kandefer along with Scott Beckstein, Elizabeth Kandefer, and Mario Gimbrone. They are known for their ambient, ethereal indie rock sound and have released several albums and EPs including Creation, Drowned in a Sea of Sound, The Soft Attack, and Hide Your Eyes. The band has a dedicated following and is recognized for their shoegaze and space rock influences.
