About

Reagan Youth was an American anarcho-punk band formed by singer Dave Rubinstein and guitarist Paul Bakija in Queens, New York City in early 1980. The band is known for their politically charged lyrics and aggressive hardcore punk sound, using satire and sarcasm to address societal hypocrisies and politics. They became inactive in 1990 and reformed in 2006, thirteen years after the death of lead singer Dave Rubinstein. Their musical style is defined as hardcore/punk crossover and alternative/indie.
