About

Plain White T’s are a pop-rock quintet from Lombard, Illinois. Founded in 1997 by high-school friends Tom Higgenson, Dave Tirio and Ken Fletcher, they cut their teeth in Chicago’s late-’90s emo and pop-punk circuit before breaking into the mainstream with the acoustic ballad “Hey There Delilah,” a 2007 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 that earned two Grammy nominations. Follow-up platinum singles “1, 2, 3, 4” and “Rhythm of Love” cemented their reputation for hook-laden, heart-on-sleeve songwriting. After major-label stints with Hollywood Records, the band returned to Fearless Records for their self-titled 2023 album, continuing to blend polished pop sensibility with the energetic edge of their punk origins.
