Irate (NYC)

Irate (NYC) is a New York Metal/Hardcore Crossover band formed in New York City in 1995 and disbanded in 2006. They started out playing beatdown hardcore before evolving into a thrashcore/groove/metalcore band. The band members included Nick (guitar), UV (drums), Nando (guitar), Phil (vocals), and Jayson (bass). Irate is known for their ultra brutal metallic hardcore style influenced by thrash and heavy metal. They have a notable presence in the New York hardcore scene and have been featured in various live performances and interviews.
