Galaxie 500

Galaxie 500 was an American indie rock band formed in 1987 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The band consisted of guitarist and vocalist Dean Wareham, drummer Damon Krukowski, and bassist and vocalist Naomi Yang. They released three studio albums: Today, On Fire, and This Is Our Music before disbanding in 1991. Known for their minimalist songwriting and atmospheric production style, they influenced countless artists in the alternative/indie genre.
