Flatsound

Flatsound is the lo-fi indie project of Mitch Welling, a songwriter and sound artist based in Southern California. He began recording and releasing music under the Flatsound name in 2007. In 2008, Mitch became severely agoraphobic and did not leave his house for almost ten years. Flatsound's music is known for its honest, poetic songwriting and ambient qualities. The project gained significant attention through social media platforms like Tumblr and SoundCloud around 2012-2013. Flatsound donates 100% of all sales to help Palestinian children.
